Celebrating Sr. Vincent’s 100th Birthday

                                                                                                            The birthday cake

On the 18th January 2023, Sr. Vincent reached a great landmark, her 100th birthday. God’s many gifts to her over the years (especially in teaching, working for ecumenism and for justice and peace) have been a gift for us all. She was, of course, especially remembered at Mass that day, then other celebrations followed. Despite her age, she rose with enthusiasm to the occasion, as seen in these photos.
She was delighted to receive a card from King Charles III and a visit from some of her family.

Everyone marvelled at the good form she was in, and how aware and appreciative she was of everything that was going on, proof of the wonderful care she receives in the infirmary
from the staff and sisters.
