“He who works with his hands is a labourer.
He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.
He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.”
― Saint Francis of Assisi

As artists in this world we valued the season of creation to renew our relationship or friendship with our creator and all creation, through celebration, conversation and commitment together. Yes, as we had celebrated the season of creation as SSJA in East Africa Mission have assembled together as a family in the chapel, in the garden to bring the mood of celebration for the gift of our mother earth, reflecting on ecological conversion and achievement of our responsibility on creation. It has touched and inspired each one of us with divine experience to embrace the creativity of God with gratitude and care for it with love and appreciation.

Earth is the sanctuary of God's presence. In that sanctuary we are invited to reflect on God's presence. AS we have reflected on mother earth - our common home, St. Francis of Assisi as an example we honoured him by placing him in the centre of the prayer room. He is the person who care for the vulnerable. He was particularly concerned for God's creation and for the poor and out cast. He praised God if an integral ecology lived out joyfully and authentically. So, we need to honour the earth as she is like our mother who nurses every living creature at her breasts. We hold all creation as sacred it made us to realize that each star, leaf, birds and fish as our sister and mountains and valleys every trees and flowers is like our friend also human companion teach us God so let us care for one another.

It was a perfect time to admire God's love for each one. while we were praying, we realized the harm we are doing to creation so we have taken as resolution to care for the planet with love and reverence. we had rich experience and we thanked God for the beautiful mother earth. We had rich diversity of our country which helping us to live and savour the intercultural experience. We as community have taken effort to promote the creation by planting, giving awareness on creation also taken it as our community effort to promote and safe the environment from where we receive the fullness of life.
