Sr. Anne Marie Dupont

on 30th November 2022, aged 88 years, 68 of Religious Profession.
Sr Anne Marie clearly expressed her wish not to have an obituary. We will therefore only mention the important stages of her life. She was born in Annecy on 11 October 1934. In reality her origins go back much further; they go back to God. We are all the fruit of His love. Parents are collaborators in the creative action of a Father, Pure Love.
Anne Marie was baptised on 12 October, the day after her birth. She was immersed in the life of Jesus, the perfect image of the Father. "She was precious in his eyes and he loved her.” In 1941, at the age of 7, she received the sacrament of Confirmation and went to Communion for the first time. The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Jesus, would mysteriously transform her to make her like Jesus.
On 2 October 1952, she was 18 years old and entered the novitiate. Two years later, she took her first vows: a response to the call of Christ; a yes that she renewed for four years; before the definitive YES of her perpetual profession on 5 September 1958.
She lived in different communities: Les Fins, Monnetier-Mornex, Bellevaux, Maison Mère. She entered the Grand Chêne in December 2021. On Wednesday 30 November 2022, she joined Christ who, on the Cross, had made this incredible promise to the good thief, a man whose life was far from exemplary but who had believed in Jesus crucified: "Today you will be with me in paradise".
