SPORTS DAY & SEMI CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIO
Christmas is the festival which inspires the spirit of sharing and caring. Christmas celebration was held on 21 December 2024, in the school quadrangle. The school was beautifully decorated, and everybody was dressed in red and white. The programme started with an introduction about Christmas and why is it celebrated. A beautiful skit followed depicting the scenes of the nativity of Jesus Christ interspersed with melodious carols sung by the choir.
Right from the conception of Mary to the birth of Jesus a harmonious story was displayed by the students. The event ended with cheerful Christmas greetings as the students danced to the melodious tunes of ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘We wish you a merry Christmas.’ The dazzling entry of Santa Claus added to the joy and excitement of the students. The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was visible on the faces of all the children. It was a joyous and amusing programme for everyone.
Sports and games are an integral part of human life. They serve a variety of purposes, includes providing exercise and recreation, building character and teamwork skills, and promoting competition and friendship. In our school we promote many such activities like sports day, competition and symposium so that students learn the art of teamwork and healthy competition. Every year we organize sports day.
In the month of November. All teaching, non-teaching staff and students participate with lot of enthusiasm. The audience next witnessed various displays symbolizing alternative sources of energy. The displays made way for the highly awaited athletic events where competitiveness among the students soared through the roof. Another highlight of the day was the lighting of the Presidency Torch.
The end of the day, students departed with a clear smile on their faces as the ‘yellow house’ emerged as House Champions. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
